Apple iOS 5 Will Include Twitter Photo Sharing
Twitter is now ready to roll out their own photo sharing service, as TechCrunch is reporting that it will be included as a baked-in sharing for iOS 5.0 which will be launched at WWDC conference next week. This new service is aiming to give more control for Twitter over the ecosystem. Today, there are a lot of third party photo sharing services like TwitPic and Yfrog which is sharing millions of photos in a day.
This rumor is very interesting, as the integration with iOS 5.0 will make it easier for iOS device users to share their photo via Twitter. It means that you can snap a photo or maybe a video, and then simply hit the share button and choose ‘share to Titter’ option beside the other options. It will also be beneficial for Twitter, as iPhone is increasingly used by people to take and share their photographs.
If the rumor is correct, it will be interesting to see what will the other platforms do, as it will surely be very helpful and make this life a lot easier for some developers. We don’t have to be that curious for very long time, as thankfully, the photo sharing service might be unveiled later this week at WWDC.
