I also faced the same problem, so i searched everywhere including this site but none of the solutions helped me to fix this problem.And finally after 10 days of suffering i got rid of it…i am explaining how…

1. go to tools->clear browsing data…delete evreything…. this was suggested in a thread here….but i just deleted all browsing history, download history, cache and cookies…then i restarted my browser but it didnt work ….

2.earlier i had IDM ver 6.12 build 15…so now i downloaded latest ver 6.12 build 19(at 25/09/2012)…i uninstalled it completely…..then i restarted my laptop…and intalled the latest ver build 19…then i started chrome and checked….the problem is solved and youtube videos are downloading with idm…

I dont know exactly whether step1 or step2 or both helped me , thats why i explained what i did…..try this may be it`ll work for you. reply if it works…..

I think you are downloading from a website that let you do the survey first then let you download. i would like to tell you that the site is fake, they are just a CPA scam website to let you do and finish the survey and let you download a fake file with a password.
