Must Have iPad Apps for Group Video Calling

When Steve Jobs was announcing the brand new iPad 2, many people are not surprised with the existence of the front and rear facing camera for both video recording and video chatting. It is a great addition for iOS as they already have FaceTime previously. But it is very nice to know that you have an option for video calling instead of a normal common voice call.

You might already know Fring. Now, Fring has the ability for group video calling to the Apple’s tablet, iPad. Compared to FaceTime, the better side of Fring is that the app supports multiple chat clients for video calling. The app will support up to four people in a group chat at the same time. It is interesting to see how smooth will it be.

For your information, Fring is a free app. As I said before, it supports multiple plaltform. So, it doesn’t matter if you have iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Nokia, Android, or any other, you can still video chatting with your friends. Does it nice to have a free and cross platform chat app? Can you still expect for more with that? I think stability and reliability will be important for app like this.
